The Role of Sodium Chlorate in Bleaching, Herbicides, and Specialty Chemicals

Sodium chlorate (NaClO₃) is a powerful inorganic oxidizing agent produced on an industrial scale primarily for the manufacture of chlorine dioxide, a key bleaching agent in the pulp and paper industry. It is manufactured through the electrolysis of a hot, saturated sodium chloride brine in large, undivided cells. This electrochemical process involves the anodic oxidation of chloride ions to form chlorate, with simultaneous hydrogen evolution at the cathode. The resulting solution is then crystallized to yield white, crystalline NaClO₃. It is a strong oxidizer, meaning it readily donates oxygen to support combustion of flammable materials; as such, it is classified as a hazardous material that requires careful handling and storage, separate from organic compounds, acids, and reducing agents to prevent fire or explosion.

The dominant global application for sodium chlorate, accounting for over 90% of production, is as the on-site precursor for chlorine dioxide (ClO₂) generation in pulp mills. Chlorine…

EC > toilet training?

Hello! We've been doing elimination communication with our baby for a while and it's been fairly successful, though still using diapers for pee for the most part. I'm interested in connecting with folks who have gone from EC to toilet training, when, any tips, etc.? Our bb is 16 months currently. Thanks!!

FREE STUFF!

We cleaned out our playroom and I have left the no longer used items out in the driveway of 608 First South St in Enterprise. There are bikes, lots of books, and other random toddler things. Please come by and help yourself! I'm not on Facebook, so if any one can post in on facebook, too, that'd be great!

Stroller walk meetup and park hang

Hi mamas just wanted to throw an idea out there to get together for a walk with the babies and any other littles that are out of school and meet at the park (maybe they could ride their bikes or scoot along side) orrr we just try to do a walk with just the babies, figure out a loop downtown, grab a coffee to go and hang at enterprise park for some self made “mommy and me” time?

Let me know if anyone is interested, more in the morning when it’s cooler we can aim for Thursdays and have it bleed into story time at enterprise park at 10 am?

Lemme know your thoughts and interest

More things!

We are moving to another home in the county so I am going through our attic. Turns out we have some baby stuff to move out! email me at annikamaly@gmail if you want to pick anything up: 1. Kiinde Twist started set. Pumped directly into bags (single use, but you gotta do what you gotta do). I also have all of the different sizes of nipples. I also have the adapter kit so it fits with any pump. Also a box of extra bags. 2. Old school Medela pump in style. The heartiest of pumps. Plug-in and not fancy, but I found to be the strongest. I have the bag, pumping bra, bottles, little cooler box. 3. 2 hand pumps 4. Potette Plus travel potty with liners 5. KneeGuard for carseat. Was very nice for long car trips. It's a foot rest that you put under the car seat so that kids have something to…

Kitchen tower and kid toilet seats

I have a relatively low profile toddler kitchen tower (16 inches across, 14 inches deep, and 36 inches tall) that we have outgrown.

We also have 3 toilet seats with built in toddler seats. Kind of a weird thing to pass along, but they are awesome for potty learning, and we will fully disinfect them before passing them along. They are in good shape. Let me know if anyone is interested!
